Research assistant professor

Tenure-track Asst/Assosc. professor

Research assistant professor positions in the area of cognitive neuroscience and organizational behavior are available on a continuous basis.

Expected salary: > HKD 50k/month +  contract gratuity (15% of salary payable annually)

Postdoc/Research fellow

Postdoctoral research fellows are supported by research grants.

Expected salary: Avg. HKD 30k/month + 15% contract gratuity

Applicants should have a PhD degree with a good record of empirical brain imaging (MRI/EEG/fNIRS/TMS) research experience. The appointees should have a demonstrable interest in interdisciplinary research and are expected to conduct research of high quality and submit grant proposals.

Each university can only nominate up to 12 candidates and PDFS will provide support to 50 awardees.

 The PDFS nominee must have obtained a PhD degree within 3 years or will complete the requirement of a PhD degree within one year.

Ph.D. studentship

there are at least three tracks:

1. Hong Kong Ph.D. fellowship(deadline: 1 December, internal deadline applies)

The Fellowship provides an annual stipend of HK$325,200 (approximately US$41,690) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$13,600 (approximately US$1,740) per year.

300 awardees per year.

2. The Talent 100 Ph.D. Scholarship Scheme (deadline: 15 April)

HK$18,320/month

3. The System Health Lab track (1 Dec and 15 April):

Students are expected to work on interdisciplinary topics such as cooperation, creativity, and other social functions. Candidates should apply to one of the two departments first:

MRI Radiographers

The MRI center will be open in the middle of 2023.

Both senior and junior MRI radiographers are needed.

Research Assistant

Research assistants are expected to be familiar with at least one of neuroscience-related skills (EEG, fMRI, TMS, fNIRS, eye-tracking, modelling).
